You’ve been through hell together and survived. You two fight more than beta fish, am I right? It feels like a constant struggle just to hold back the tears, the pain. But bro, when you two are fighting, do yourself a favor. When she’s yelling at you for something you may or may not have done wrong, don’t yell back. Don’t raise your voice or cuss her out, or hurt her anymore than she feels you have. Instead of fighting back, take a step forward, shut your mouth, and just hold her. Even when she beats the living hell out of you, don’t let go until she’s done resisting. Tell her you love her. Hell, even if you didn’t do it, apologize to her, and remind her that no matter what disagreements you two may have, it’ll never change the way you feel about her. You love her more than she’ll ever know, more than petty words can describe. For once, put your relationship ahead of your own pride, and love her with the heart whose rhythm she falls asleep to every night.
